This lets you play around with the residual squared feature and the slope to find the line of best fit. Try to have the kids find the least amount of area which represents the line of best fit.

http://www.minitab.comThis allows students/teachers to receive a free trial version of minitab for statistics. The program is similar to StatExplorer but is more powerful. The kids are actually tested on it on their AP exam for Stats.
Win StatsThis allows students/teachers to receive a free version of WinStats for statistics. The program is similar to StatExplorer but is designed for the PC and it takes very little time to download.
Statistics.comThis is a web page for all math students. It is comprised of math humor, jokes and mathematical games on the internet.

Here is a great resource for practicing for tests and quizzes.
8. StatSite
This site contains many useful resources, including Smith's Statistical Package, StatGames, and StatQuiz. The free software programs are good for both Mac and Windows.
9. Colleges that Accept AP Stats Credit
This is a web site that has some listings as to which schools will accept AP Stats credits when you pass the exam. Of course, you should always check with your school of choice to make sure. This is not up and running yet.
